Alex Wells is an independent Songwriter/entertainer native to Nashville, Tennessee born and raised in the country scene, he comes from a line of gifted musicians, his father kent and brother Derek wells both making notable contributions to the Country scene. Through their mentorship and a chance friendship with Kid-Rock Alex has curated the most entertaining classic country band since the true days of the Grand-old-opry! Centered at one of the finest steak houses in Nashville, The Detroit Cowboy, where fine dinnin meets rock and roll and western culture, Alex and his Star-Lighters play every Friday and Saturday nite as the lead house band for the Detroit Cowboy  creating experiences akin to those when nashville was still a country town made for country music.
